Waterville was the Hop Capital of the Country from the mid 1800's to the mid 1900's. It is the birth place of George Eastman, who founded the Eastman Kodak Company. Waterville is also known for a notorious family of outlaws, The Loomis Gang.

The Historical Society is located at 214 White Street in Waterville, NY.
 

Please join us for Loomis Gang Country Tours on July 12, 2008. One hour bus tours start at 9 am. Last bus is at 2 pm.
Old fashioned ice cream social, hop exhibit, old time games.
