30	31 Parades will highlight the area’s Memorial Day celebration Monday. Waterville’s Memorial Day steps off at 9 a.m. The parade ends at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, where a service will include ‘Taps’, the Gettsyburg Address and a talk by retired state trooper Art Ellis. The CJ Fulmer American Legion’s barbecue starts at noon. In Deansboro, a ceremony at the Veterans Monument at 10 a.m., with the parade to follow at 10:30. Oriskany Falls has the parade at noon, followed by a ceremony in Douglass Park. In the Town of Brookfield, the Johnson-Rogers American Legion starts events at 8 a.m. in Leonardsville, followed by 8:30 in South Brookfield and 9 in North Brookfield. The parade begins at 9:30 in Brookfield and a parade follows in Unadilla Forks at 11 a.m.
