Brookfield: Madison County rabies clinic. Brookfield Town Garage, 5 to 7 p.m. Proof of previous vaccination is required to qualify for a three-year certificate. Vaccinations are available free of charge to Madison County Residents, however, a voluntary $5 donation per pet is requested to help defray clinic costs. All animals must be at least three months of age. All animals must be properly restrained (leash and collar/harness or cage/pet carrier)

Saturday, Aug. 25
Waterville: Waterville Library, Carnival, 12 to 3 p.m. Enjoy games, prizes, face painting, bounce house/slide, crafts, live music by Nelson Shapiro and kids can get free ice cream sundaes thanks to their reading all summer.

Madison: Pancake breakfast from 7-10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church.

Clinton: Art and Music Festival from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Stone Presbyterian Church. Pulled pork sandwiches, pie slices, drinks, crafts, and fair trade items will be available. The Storytellers will perform at 3 p.m. Open mic will take place from 4:30-7 p.m. and historical tours of the church will be given throughout the day.
